My personal story
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
There is a beautiful aching within the soul of all, a desire to know why we are here and where we belong. I know this longing too well. It wasn't until I experienced the fullness of the new birth through the Holy Spirit that I began to understand that the aching was my old life longing for a peaceful death in order to make room for a new life that God had promised. Scripture tells us that He put eternity in the hearts of men. A hopeful anticipation of a new life to come.
I was at one point dead and now I am alive in Him and the newness of life has been my transformer, my refiner, and my guide as a grow toward becoming new. I experienced the new birth at 16 years old. Today at 40, I am still a student at the feet of my Lord asking Him to help me be new. Renew my mind and purify my heart.
I'm using this blog to empty my heart of all that whispers within, share my stories, and create a safe space for you to journey into becoming new with me.
